"Oxygen % Saturation" (% SATN 02) = [p02 / (.2094 x BAR)] x 100
FUNCTION & DISPAY PANEL:
LCD display with 3/4" high characters readable from 10 meters.
Lexan snap-dome panel embossed with all parameters & LED annunciators
On/Off button & LOG-on/off group seperate from parameter group
ANALOG-OUT SIGNAL:
A nine pin jack on the rear of the instrument provides scaled output for all basic sensors;
0 - 1.0 VDC scaled by op-amps for each sensor 1.00 mm Hg = 1.0 mv;
1.00 degree C = 10.0 mV (20.0 degrees C = 0.2000 mV); % Saturation to 100.0
Derived parameters can easily be computed from scaled sensor outputs.
PROBES:
A variety of probe styles are available. Standard is a 2 1/2" O.D. x 9 1/2"round PVC probe with provision for changing membrane cartridges and orsensors. Disassembly can be completed in seconds and component replacement in minutes. A smaller diameter probe is available (1.68" O.D.). Probes are interchangable with no need for recalibration. Oxygen calibration in air is made easy and accurate with automatic reference to Barometric Pressure.
CABLE:
Available with either standard laboratory cable or high strength oceanographic quality polyurethane-jacketed #24 teflon insulated wire fitted with waterproof connectors capable of being broken and connected underwater;extension cables can be connected up to 1000 feet with no need for recalibration.
EQUILIBRATION TIME:
10 minutes with standard membrane at 20 degrees centigrade
FEATURES OF TBO-DL6 METERS: Introducing the Common Sensing TBO-DL6 Series
Displays six system sensors; Total Dissolved Gas Pressure (TDGP or PT in mm Hg), Barometric Pressure (in mm Hg), Temperature (degrees C), and Oxygen as partial pressure (pO2 in mm Hg) or Concentration (ppm or mg/L) and Relative Humidity (RH).
Displays four derived parameters; Delta-P (PT-pO2), % SATN TDGP, and % SATN O2. The latter provides for easy calibration of the oxygen sensor in air.
Logging capability for all sensors in user-adjustable intervals from one minute to once per day.
Alarm capability permits selecting which probe parameter, setpoint value, and minimum or maximum limit for each of two alarms.
Optional inclusion of the OXYGUARD oxygen sensor allowing later addition by the user when needed (Specify Model TB(O)-DL6).
Automatic 'in-air' probe calibration including Relative Humidity (R.H.) correction to give "dry" Barometric Pressure for oxygen calibration.
Accurate readings every time with New Auto-Calibrate Mode
User-installable software makes upgrading to new operating program easy and inexpensive
Long-term non -volatile data memory.
Two-month operation from internal battery
9 - 24 VAC or VDC external power input (also charges internal battery)
Logged Data may be Offloaded to PC via Serial or Parallel (for high speed) interfaces
Programmable stirring options for most reliable oxygen logging in stagnant waters.

CALIBRATED PROBES FOR: (1)Temperature, (2)Total Dissolved Gas Pressure & (3)Oxygen
The Probe, which uses the same internal and external Housing as all TB-model probes, has a newinternal board, pressure sensor and temperature sensor with more rapid time respnses (20 secondsfor Temperature and 4-5 minutes for PT.) It uses OXYGUARD O2 sensor for oxygen. Upgrading ofexisting equipment can be done for 25% discount off list prices.
Any length cable can be used with no need for recalibration.
The TBOCP can be used alone with any system reading analog voltage from 0.0 to 1.5 volts. Mostsuch systems give the user a choice of 0-100 volts, 0-50 volts and 0-10 volts DC. In mostsituations 0-1.0 volts will be adequate unless dissloved gas pressures of greater than 1000 mmm Hgare expected.
PROBE SUPPLY: 12 Volts DC (unregulated)
Parameter Output:
TDGP (PT) 1.0 mV/mm Hg
e.g. at Standard Pressure 760 mm Hg reads 760 mV, or 0.760 V DC
TEMPURATURE 10.0 mV/degree C
e.g. at 20.0 degrees C reads 200 mV or 0.200 V DC
OXYGEN 1.0 mV/mm HG oxygen pressure
Cable length (standard) 20 feet; extra length @ 1.80
DISSOLVED GAS EXCHANGE MEMBRANE: Dimethyl Silicon tubing (course or fine) wound on ourstandard cartridge which allows quick replacement (<1.0 minute) when necessary and comes with perforated metal shield to minimize membrane breakage from scouring of particulates and biological action.
